Lyse Spenard

In 1989 Lyse Spenard was featured on the cover of Commerce magazine as Woman of the Year. She was referred to as “The young designer on her way to becoming the pride of the Canadian Fashion Industry”.

In the interim, Lyse designed for many well known international companies returning, in 2007, to her own label BYLYSE and BYLYSE@EASE.

She now lives in a loft in Old Montreal with her 19 year old daughter which she describes as an exciting and revitalizing experience.

Lyse Spenard’s vision has always been to design for women who get younger with age, women who are looking for classic style, comfort, and low maintenance, modern, multifunctional fabrics.

At Chatsworth & Hall we love the versatility of her designs and the fact that they take our customers from work to leisure and even out in the evening with stylish elegance. They travel extremely well, which is an important factor.
